The Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) is a key Australian Government financial assistance program for exporters. Each year it helps some 4,000 SMEs to start or expand their export business.
Eligible businesses receive up to 50% of eligible promotional expenses.
The deadline for claiming promotional expenses incurred in FY20 & FY21 is 30 November.
Also, the EMDG is shifting, whereby upfront funding is provided to give certainty to EMDG participants for FY22 and beyond.
The deadline for upfront funding is also 30 November.
